Q: What are the benefits of having a second photographer with you on a wedding day?
A: Having a 2nd shooter opens up a ton of opportunities for being spontaneous. It frees me up to steal you away to catch the epic sunset while not missing your grandma work the dance floor. It also gives me someone to bounce creative ideas off of throughout the day which is always a plus! Super valuable.
Q: Do you travel for weddings?
A: Yes. Some travel fees may apply depending on the wedding location. I love to explore new places. Please take me with you!
Q: How do we receive our photos?
A: All of your high-res ,edited photos will be hosted on an online platform called Smug Mug (yes it’s a funny name, but they have been around for a while and are trusted and reputable) where you can then download them to your computer. I always recommend having them saved on a personal external hard drive as well as on your computer for convenience. I will have them backed up as well for 30 days after you receive the download link.
Q: When should we expect our wedding photos delivered to us?
A: For weddings, you will receive your full gallery 8-12 weeks after your wedding date. For smaller sessions, the turn around is much quicker like 3-5 weeks. Most of the time I deliver full galleries much earlier than expected. Just trying to cover my a**. :)
Q: Is there a retainer fee?
A: Yes. For weddings, I require 25% of your total price which is non-refundable. This will lock your date in and begin the process of making some serious magic together. For other, smaller sessions, I require 50% paid to hold your spot.

Q: Should me and my partner do a “First Look” on our wedding day?
A: Hell yeah you should! I feel pretty strongly about this based off of personal experience (I wish my wife & I had done this way back when). It is a super intimate and special time to spend with just you guys on your big day and it will unlock a whole heck of extra time spent together on your wedding day. I love this.
